For an easy snack on the go apple peanut butter crackers are perfectly portable and a kid favorite. Even adults love the simple pairing of apples and peanut butter.

My kids tend to be insatiable over the summer. Maybe it’s being constantly on the go, or just being around mom but I’m constantly hearing “I’m hungry!”

One of our favorite snacks is peanut butter and apples or peanut butter and crackers. Putting the apples, peanut butter, and crackers all together for snack time just makes sense!

Our whole family are peanut butter fiends so I was excited to try the Windstone Farms Creamy Peanut Butter Portable Packets. This is some seriously amazing peanut butter, definitely the best peanut butter I have ever tasted! Windstone Farms has been family owned and operated for 35 years so they know what they are doing.

You can get everything you need for this easy on the go snack from Walmart. Just hover over this photo above to easily purchase the peanut butter packets for online grocery pickup!

I also love that each peanut butter packet has 7 grams of protein so they are a great addition for kid’s snacks or lunches. We were at the beach this week and I was kicking myself for not tossing in a few of the packets into the diaper bag because a seagull stole my sandwich. I really could have used something nutritious to replace my stolen sandwich!

Their peanut butter packets are brand new and you can find them at Walmart in the peanut butter section. Be on the lookout for a demo at a Walmart near you where you can try the NEW Windstone Farms Creamy Peanut Butter Portable Packets, August 8-10, 2019.

There’s even an Ibotta offer to be on the look out for where you can earn .50 cents back while supplies last.

step by step photo on how to easily slice an apple

How to easily cut an apple into slices

  1. Cut the apple in half
  2. Then, cut each apple half into thirds by cutting on either side of the core.
  3. Next, cut the core off of the middle section of apple.
  4. Finally, slice the apple into whatever thickness you desire.

Other variations you can try

Now we did this with apple but you can just as easily make this with other fruit. Here are some popular, kid-friendly ideas:

  • fresh peach slices
  • halved strawberries
  • banana slices
  • raisins
  • any dried fruit

You can try sprinkling on some of these spices over the fruit:

  • cinnamon
  • chai
  • ginger
  • nutmeg

My kiddos couldn’t wait to get their hands on these. Our 2 year old stood by my side as I took pictures begging me to let him have some. Even my 10 year old was happy to come snag a couple!

These simple little snacks are something that will always be in our regular rotation. Hopefully you love them as well!
