Breadmaker Garlic Bread

Breadmaker Garlic Bread-just toss it in and go. Pair with slow cooker meal for a great busy day dinner.

If you don’t have a breadmaker and have ever wondered if it’s worth it I’m here to tell you it totally can be. The key to having one is the same as any other kitchen appliance- it’s worth it if you use it. I bought a used one off Craigslist and used it fairly often when we were in college. Our slow cooker got a lot of use since we were at school or work all day and didn’t have tons of time to cook. The breadmaker helped give a comforting touch to our dinners. As I’ve discovered more great recipes like this Coconut Bread or Herb Bubble Bread I’ve found even more excuses to use it. It’s so great to eat homemade bread without having to heat up the whole house as well, so it’s a lifesaver in the summer.

This bread is a nice alternative to your basic white bread loaf. The garlic adds a nice element without being overwhelming. Due to it’s subtle flavor its great paired with a variety of meals. I paired this with the Orange and Lemon Slow Cooker Turkey that I shared a few weeks ago. I’ve also paired it with pasta dishes like Goat Cheese Lasagna or these Tuscan Style Pork Ribs or Root Beer Beef Stew. I hope you can find lots of recipes to use it with!
