In keeping with the theme for the week I thought I would share this recipe. I am always looking out for a good alternative to treats, a la Cherry Pie Smoothie and Mint Chocolate Chip Smoothie. They are totally my downfall. And after having 2 kids I have learned that losing weight is the battle for me. Not maintaining it. I can live with that but sometimes it’s a little frustrating craving sweets all the time. So recipes like this are a nice alternative. This is not a health food in any sense but it’s choosing better options that is important. The calcium and protein in the greek yogurt are infinitely better than what little calcium and protein are in chocolate chip cookie dough.
Does this taste like chocolate chip cookie dough? Not really, but it does taste good so that will work for me. And hopefully it will work for you too. So go check out the recipe and try it the next time a craving hits and let me know what you think.
