Apple Syrup

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Bisquik mix or homemade Bisquik mix
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups apple juice or cider
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup butter


  • Mix together and bring to a boil. Allow to boil for about 2 minutes. Serve warm.
  • Can be kept in a container in the refrigerator for about one week.
