Healthy-ish Blender Double Chocolate Pancakes (IHOP Copycat)

These Healthy-ish Double Chocolate Pancakes are a sweet treat for breakfast that you don't have to feel guilty about!

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups almond milk
  • 1 cup unsweetened apple sauce or 1 banana and 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 cup oatmeal
  • 1 1/2 cups cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


  • Add eggs, milk, vanilla, applesauce, and banana if using. Then add remaining ingredients except for chocolate chips.
  • Blend until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips using a spatula or spoon.
  • Use a 1/4 cup scoop or just pour straight from the blender and pour batter into a hot skillet.
  • Cook pancakes for about 2 minutes per side.
  • Top with strawberry sauce buttermilk syrup, or your favorite syrup.


Makes about 25-30 pancakes depending on how large you make them.
