Ingredients
4cupsall purpose flour
4 1/2cupsmilk
2large eggs
1teaspoonsalt
5Tbspbutterfor pan
Instructions
In a large bowl, beat together the flour, salt, milk, and eggs until smooth.
Heat a pan to medium heat and melt about 1/2 Tablespoon of butter. Using a ladle, scoop out the mix and pour it into the pan.
Cook for about 1 minute until the bottom is golden brown. Flip and cook again on the other side for about 1 additional minute.
Remove from pan and keep warm. Repeat with remaining batter, adding additional butter before ladling each new pannenkoek.
Notes
Use the ladle to stir the mixture before measuring out the next pancakes. Otherwise the flour settles at the bottom. If you want to add anything to the batter I find it turns out better if it is mixed directly into the batter before pouring. If you want only a partial batch with mix ins you can add them to each ladle full before pouring into the pan.
