- 4 cups vanilla ice cream
- 3 cups Cream soda
- 1/4 cup whipped cream
- 1/2 cup butterscotch syrup additional to taste
Add 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream to each cup.
Slowly pour cream 3/4 cup of cream soda over the ice cream in each cup. (If you want more butterscotch flavor you can add a little more butterscotch syrup here).
Drizzle 1 Tbsp of butterscotch syrup over the ice cream and soda mixture.
Pipe whipped cream over the top of the ice cream and soda.
Add an extra 1 Tbsp butterscotch syrup.
It helps to leave the ice cream out for about 5 minutes before attempting to scoop. If it's extremely hot out it might take less time.
Another good trick is to have a cup full of really hot water that you dip the ice cream scoop in before each time you scoop.
