You won’t believe how easy this Quick Salsa Soup is and how few ingredients you need. It’s perfect for an after school snack or an easy weeknight meal when things get crazy. I love how convenient the ingredients are to find at Walmart because it’s an easy stop for me to make on my way home from working out which makes my life so much easier.

Pace salsa, 2 cans of Campbell's Homestyle Chicken Noodle Soup and a can of Swanson's Canned Chicken Here’s what your going to need for this dish and you’ll also want a medium sized pot. It’s 4 simple ingredients that are just open and pour! So stinking simple!

You know how sometimes you tell the family what you are making for food and everyone groans. And then they try the food and they eat multiple helpings. This salsa soup was one of those dishes. Everyone gave me a very suspicious look when I said there was Pace® salsa in it.

I think Pace® salsa is such an underused ingredient in cooking. It has so much versatility beyond just as a condiment or for dipping. It makes a great ingredient in dishes because it adds a variety of textures and you can pick whatever heat level you want. It’s guaranteed to add a kick to the soup! I went with mild this time around because of nursing my little guy and for my kiddos.

The quick part of the soup comes from using Campbell’s® Condensed Chicken Noodle Soup and Swanson® Premium Chicken. Chicken noodle soup is a family favorite in our house and has been a kid favorite for generations. I love that you can put your own twist and add your favorite garnishes to make it special for your family and that it is such a quick and easy option for mealtime that will please everyone. Using the canned chicken means I don’t have to worry about taking the time to cook chicken because it’s already cooked and ready to use for quick and everyday meals. A blue bowl of quick salsa soup with an orange pot and green plate with quesadillas in the background

I paired up the salsa soup with another kid favorite- quesadillas! It makes for a complete kid classic meal but I think the soup alone would make a great afterschool snack. Of course if your kids are starving all the time like mine they may polish off the soup and quesadillas even for a snack! You know those suspicious looks I got? Once they tried it they were raving about how much they liked the soup. Goobers! My kids have been begging for the salsa soup every single day. We’ve got a new favorite staple! And I’m just grateful it’s so quick.

Look for the Campbell’s® Condensed Chicken Noodle Soup and the Swanson® Premium Chicken in the canned goods aisle.

An in store picture of the salsa and V8 juiceThe salsa was in the Latin foods aisle and the juice was on the juice aisle.

We washed everything down with some Pineapple Coconut V8 Splash®. It was so good! I was surprised at the intensity of the pineapple coconut flavor which the whole family loved and I like that it’s made with real fruit and vegetables.
