Orange Scented Quinoa
It sounds fancy but this is only one extra ingredient than regular quinoa. I like to add a little something extra to my side dishes because they really help to elevate the whole meal. Doesn’t Orange Scented Quinoa sound so fancy but it is seriously simple. The secret extra ingredient- Orange Marmalade! Isn’t that easy!
This is a much more subtle flavor than my Orange Cranberry Wild Rice but it’s familiar flavor and smell meant my kids gobbled it up. And it was such a nice compliment to the Honey Lime Salmon and quinoa cooks up in just 20 minutes. I love being able to get food on the table really quickly.
And the leftovers for this work for breakfast as well! Add some peaches or nectarines and a little milk and bam a protein packed healthy breakfast option!

I have 2 bags of quinoa on the shelf and a jar of marmalade that I don’t know what to do with it. Great idea and will be a great side dish for dinner.
